OUR PHILOSOPHY

Our way of life is simple. Spartan nature is around us. We are “centered” on aligning with the uninterrupted natural procedures which are in continuous motion, everlasting movement. We learnt to observe nature’s work every changing moment, embracing it, understanding that we are part of it and that we exist inseperably. We just accept nature, life and the «κόσμος» (cosmos: the ancient Greek word for “jewel”).

Effortlessly we focus on the unification, integration of the process. Alpha to Omega, from-the-tree-to-the-bottle. The corresponding Greek word is «Άρτιος» (Artios: Total. Whole. Holistic. Entire. Complete). The word “art” derives from “Artios” and means “completeness”. Focusing on the “whole”, life becomes art.

That is how our Spartan philosophy is formed. Specific actions, consciously implemented, avoiding the unnecessary. Not “constantly busy”. Few words, carefully expressed. Focused actions "to the point". Stillness, silence and patience come without effort, by focusing on “being”. Processes mature on their own time. We walk in the “middle” way, the way of moderation.

By consenting life and the unknown, we trust nature – cosmos, each other and science. We entrust scientists and professionals, we don’t intervene. We practice our craft and allow others to practice theirs.

Disaster Notification from Sparta Authorities

Our estate is located within a certified wild‑olive forest officially recognised by the Hellenic Republic and the European Union as an area of environmental protection, natural regeneration and non‑intervention. Following the 2007 fires, the ecosystem regenerated naturally and was formally classified in 2008 under Law 168Δ/15.4.2008 (click to download) and Law 107/4.4.2012 (click to download - pages 3 & 4), as a protected wild‑forest zone containing archaeological remains of a castle, temple, tower and settlement.

World Pioneering Ancient Forest and Environment Preservation Estate and Unit

- We are a "negative carbon status" company (beyond "zero carbon status"), meaning that besides emitting absolutely zero emissions of carbon dioxide to the atmosphere, in addition, our entire Company (Estate, Unit, Buildings) etc contributes to the absorption of 431 tons of carbon dioxide annually (or 215.5kg of absorbed carbon dioxide per liter of Medicinal Wild Olive Oil ® produced), rendering our Company a Worldwide Pioneer, Net Positive Climate / Positive Impact Company, a significant Net Absorber of carbon dioxide.

- The electric energy comes from photovoltaic panels (100% clean renewable energy) installed on the roofs of our two buildings.

- The water comes from 2 natural fountains in our land and rainwater.

- The olive waste pulp after the process of harvesting our wild olive fruits and producing our Medicinal Wild Olive Oil ® (every autumn) is not "disposed" but placed back to the "base" of each tree and acts as an autogenous - indigenous natural intra-environment fertilizer.

- During Harvest, only jute bags are used to carry the wild olive fruits. Absolutely nothing made from plastic is used in any part of the process.

- Absolutely no fertilizers / chemicals / pesticides / plastics are used in any part of our work. Nothing artificial. No chemical compounds. Not even "organic" compounds. That is how we are 100% "Naturally Organic", which means "absolutely no resources have been used outside the Eco-System".

- Absolutely no heavy elements / metals / atmospheric oxides are detected in our Estate and products. Our Wild Olive Forest and Estate are remote, away from cities, villages and human activities while access to our Estate & Unit are forbidden all year long (except at harvest / pressing / bottling, a few days every autumn)

- Only glass bottles (sizes: 10ml, 30ml, 50ml, 90ml, 100ml, 200ml, 250ml, 500ml, ensuring 100% preservation of the nutrients and practicality according to consumer requirements) and inox airtight tanks (sizes: 3lt, 5lt, 25lt) are used for the production of our products, since they are the only two materials 100% inert with olive oil and also 100% recyclable continuously.

We keep it simple, strict, "Spartan". Even the materials for our two buildings have come from the surrounding Spartan area.

It is our responsibility as World Leaders and owners of a charismatic Estate & Ancient Wild Forest, 100% pure, provided by Nature.
