His style & way of being are essential for bringing out the best in each year's harvest, in his words "humanism and health are our way of life". With his absolute affinity for all forms of life (flora & fauna), this atypical, unconventional CEO is a contemporary guardian of the true Spartan spirit.

TIMELINE

1896 - HARVEST
The family has produced olive oil for hundreds of years. The lineage traces back several centuries and embodies the unions of tradition and aesthetics, heritage and innovation, determination and gentleness.

1930 - OFFICIAL ESTABLISHMENT
The agreement between several members of the family that sorted among themselves the lands, responsibilities, possessions, etc took place in that year.

1930 - THE FIRST STORE IN ATHENS
Following reforms after the 1st World War, a few members of the family moved to Athens at the time and began supplying the Athenian Market with olive oil from the Family's land

1979 - THE YEAR REGISTERED AS AN OFFICIAL EXPORTING COMPANY
A larger commercialization took place, hence the company had to undergo officially changes, obtain additional licenses etc.

1989 - THE PIVOTAL YEAR
.It was the year when the current generations made the decision that led to today's milestone product in health and style. For several years the family was asked to "produce more", "expand the system". Having thousands of years of knowledge in our blood, the CEO of the previous generation quoted:

2008 - OFFICIAL RECOGNITION & DECLARATION OF THE ESTATE BY MINISTRIES, AUTHORITIES AND EU
Ιn 2008 (Law 168D/15.4.2008, View Official State Law) and 2012 (Law 107/4.4.2012, View Official State Law) our Estate was officially declared and recognised by all relevant Ministries of Greece - Hellenic Democracy, the Authorities of Sparta and the European Union as "Wild Olive Forest", "Environment Preservation", "Protection of Forest & National Heritage", "Natural Renaissance", "Non-intervention / non-alteration / non-intrusive" area since it is a 100% Natural Wild Olive Forest containing ruins of an Ancient Castle, Temple, Tower & Settlement (View Official State Article from the Ministry of Archaeology & Culture. 2013 - SPARTA Original Greek
The precursor (2013) of Sparta ® Medicinal ® (2018). The evolution of the scientific methods that locate and measure quality is what highlighted our rare Medicinal Olive Oil ®. Total absence of chemicals / fertilizers / pesticides / plastics / heavy elements / metals / atmospheric oxides / harmful elements with sky-high beneficial nutrients (oleocanthal, polyphenols, vitamins, squalene, sterols, omega fatty acids, etc), in containers completely inert to olive oil (glass airtight bottles of sizes from 10 ml to 500 ml ensuring 100% preservation of the nutrients according to customers' needs and inox airtight tanks, the only two materials 100% non-reactive with olive oil and completely recyclable endlessly), with unique and customized design and appearance (READ MORE).

2019 - OFFICIAL LICENSE AS MEDICINAL OLIVE OIL ®
In 2019, our products were officially recognised as Medicinal Olive Oil ®, following the issuance of the relevant licences and approvals by the competent State Authorities. This recognition was granted after submitting all required analyses and supporting documentation, including scientific assessments conducted by universities, laboratories, and accredited organisations, together with all other documents requested by the relevant authorities.
* The same rigorous process was followed in 2025 for our Medicinal Wild Olive Oil ® products, which were likewise officially recognised following the submission of all required analyses, scientific assessments, and supporting documentation, and the subsequent issuance of the relevant licences and approvals by the competent State Authorities.

2020 - WORLD'S HEALTHIEST OLIVE OIL
The World Record in Polyphenols with 4003 mg/kg was achieved that season, rendering our company officially a World Pioneer and Leader in the field of Healthy and High Polyphenolic Olive Oil.
